Where is famously liberal "lion" Kennedy in all this. He is the counterpart to Lofgren. When you are the chair of the subcommitte on Immigration you are supposed to be a leader on these kind of issues. Really disappointing.

Jus tnow got CPO Email for me Also, I think the SR for Expediate process requested by wife did work.
I am glad to see the Email finally.
We had opened SR by going to the option of Address Change and then to the CR rep, and the rep had actually initiated Expediate process on finding that we have not received the EAD card, Rep had asked allt he options like Military Service, govt service and financial hardship, we told we loose job is we do not get EAD before the expiry date and Rep choose the option of Financial hardship as cause for Expediate request and it worked for us.
I hope others can try this option to initiate Expediate Process

well red and green u dont have to be so harsh.. a desi is willing to tell and share his success lets listen.. i know its pretty difficult to outsmart the people who have invested thousand of hours .
last 4 yr of study tells me there is money to make , fastest way to make money..you have to make sure its safe..
so i will like the idea of a yahoo group... i have spend almost 4yr * 2 to 3 hrs daily.. didnt make much money at all... but i can honestly tell you there is lot of oppurtunity here.. as long as you can spend time and be patient.. read stockbee blog its a good start.
i like to hear trading strategy from anyone who is doing good..as long as they dont start selling snake oil..
We can create a small area within IV forums for people to share knowledge on various non immigration subjects. What do you think?

What we need to do is alert people who can make a difference.
Also, the costs are huge for news paper advertisements and may also irritate the general public.
Now that we have the people aware through Flowers, we can go for the big kill.

I am actually very dissappointed with myself. In the post rally MC fluster, I had made a mental note to introduce Logiclife and then give him a flower. But I hear he strongly opposes measures such as this :)

i am happy for those who can file now.
my pd is jul 2003 and was lucky enough that my case got approved in time that i could file.
we should have really started putting pressure that the becs at least approve cases by priority dates if nothing else. the becs didn't follow any rules and approved cases out of order as well.
lesson learnt. complaceny doesn't work, be engaged, contribute, and fight for your rights.
Years we have been told priority date establishes your place in the queue.
We have spurned job offers and declined the new PERM process to hold on to the priority dates.
Many are still awaiting labor certifications from the backlog elimination centers. Out comes USCIS and says everyone with a LC can file I140 & I485.
People still waiting for LC with priority dates in 2003-2004 are seeing applicants who have priority dates as late as 2007 but with approved LCs through PERM walk through to I485.
Net result, USCIS is going to be flooded with applicants enough to retrogress the priority dates 3-4 years back as early as september. (Everybody with a LC will be able to file for I485 in July). So applicants with priority dates of 2007 are going to get EAD and GC, while LC backlogged 2003 applicants to have to wait for another 3-4 years before they can even file I485.

For comment 2: Since you are giving IV address, you can use IV's name and request to check reference of the sheets which contains name,case....etc.
Comment 1: Actually, I dont know if I should use IV address, and the way I wrote at the top on the letter is the right way. And if so what exactly should we use, just the URL?
Comment 2: The sheets/sign-offs are from people with 'Pending Audit' Audit status, it might be a good idea to somehow describe that in the letter or put it at the bottom. I am not sure how do we tell that these people signed the letter. Do you get my point?

Yes, the majority of approvals are from 2005. There's even one with a June 2005 PD. I can't understand why it has slowed down though.

For filing I 485 I know you need to submit birth certificate and marriage certificate. Do both of these have to be originals or copies are fine ?

The following is from Hammond Law Firm. There is no cap for non-profit organizations.
The H-1b season is quickly getting closer. We now only have 6 weeks left before April 1. As you may recall, last year, all H-1b's were exhausted by May 26th. Our plan is to have all H-1b cap subject cases ready to be filed on March 30 for delivery at USCIS on April 2, 2007. April 1 falls on a Sunday and the USCIS has confirmed that the 2007 H-1b season begins Monday April 2.

I agree there is lot of injustice to applicants stuck in pre perm system. But with elimination of LC substitution and a timeline of 45 days between LC and 140,
tons of pre perm applications after approved will go nuts becoz the candidates have already left the employers .
I am sure that dates will remain current in August also. I believe INS will give EAD and will let all wait for GC therefore needs to go to Parole. Once you are in AP, that means, you all are golden eggs laying ducks to INS everyyear.
One +ve plus for is , DESI companies are gone and we can change jobs but its premium price for lot of guys for years to pay .

Can we just walk in to the FP center even if it is not our date? has any one done this? My Wife got a FP notice and I spoke with the rep today. I had a open SR which got a response" We are actively adjucating your case but we need additional time to review..blah blah.."
Maybe the FP is what is holding up the file and I was wondering if we could just walk in and see if they will take the prints. The appointment is next Thursday.

noone can predist USCIS.....on ly pray that they do not retrogress on July5th..like they did for EB3_OTHER category on June 5th.
