So Monkeyman, once a person comes to US, he/she should never complain, obey the orders and become subservient, and if treated like dirt, should still shut one's mouth. Looks like you are happy to be a slave to the system!!
Personally speaking, these INDIAN (yes thats with caps) body shops are the reason of H1B abuse. But what can USCIS do if there are crooks sitting in Hyd selling H1Bs for few lakhs.
And people have either become so naive or are really desparate that they fall into their traps as was evident by some lady on murthy forum who incessantly advocated that one needs to get H1B before looking for a job!!

When I see EB3-China data in USCIS's work sheet I am getting shocked. How come EB3-China has a such a low pending number particularly comparing with Eb3-India?

Good to see an EB3 thread with so many people in EB2 getting Greencards these days.
It is a matter of time EB2 I is current and nobody from EB2 will care for EB3. It is comforting that many IV core is EB3 and some good will happen to EB3. A friend of mine with EB3 I PD in 2008 has literally lost all hope of getting greencard and that is very sad. It is painful to see EB2 people not helping EB3 people. Why?

DOS allocates GC numbers to USCIS adjustment cases only as the point of approval is reached. DOS can set/move/retrogress PD based on info provided by USCIS about number of cases at point of approval.

Whatever you or I (or similar people) say is only going to get us red dots. Even if EB2 people talk sense, no one in EB3 is going to listen. It is simple human behaviour - we are all here to safeguard our own interests. Not still sure if the forum is going to side with EB3 or remain neutral. Surely they can support EB3 - they have the liberty to do so and it is perfectly right. In that case, EB2 should create their own platform to defend their interests... May be EB2 guys should think about it...In my opinion, everyone has the right in a democracy to work legally towards their goal / ambition . This is absolutely jutsified. It is not a sin. All that I am trying to say is that EB2 folks should be proactive and act before it is too late.
If EB3 were to race ahead of EB2 tomorrow, will they support EB2 or work for equitable distribution? How many amongst EB3 have used the Labor substitution to their advantage? Will they back out now? Let them touch their heart and answer this, instead of giving red dots :)
i fully support eb3 becoz their backlog and pain is more severe...... but fragmenting everyone in smaller groups..... like eb3 v/s eb2 v/s eb1 will not fix any problem...... i think there are anti-immigrants or people from other tracker websites who create fake ids to make people to fight with each other..... look at this eb2_unite guy..... she/he created his id today and is suggesting creating a new group of eb2...... i know for certain ..... 1000% certain that he will not do anything about creating a group...... he is writing inflammatory posts so that people here are divided and continue to talk rubbish......
this a$$ (eb2_unite) and other like him should be collectively shunned by everyone...... we are all educated and we should use our brain.... at least sometimes..... to see beyond the obvious when some a$$ writes inflammatory posts......

Hello All,
I found a unique way to cope with the stress of our immigration nightmare.
I always feared that this long wait to get the status issue settled would kill the entrepreneurial spirit that I have. The burning desire to do my own thing.
I have been trading stocks for the past 4 years or so now but just recently got interested in PDT - Pattern Day Trading (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_day_trader) (Clickable)
I have found it very interesting as well as rewarding in terms of fulfilling the urge to do something more than what I am doing right now.
It is not easy and it is not for the weak hearted but the rewards are wholesome and tremendous.
I would like people who are interested to "PM" me or post replies here so we can exchange ideas
IMP NOTE: Trading stocks is a type of investment so It is perfectly legal to do so. You do not even require an EAD to do so .
No doubt that if you do have EAD you can trade as business entity as well.

Do not forget to to keep the momentum up at IV and do donate to IV as often as you can .

June 29th is the receipt date printed on my Receipt Notice. I think they go by that date. So I am pretty sure they will take July 31st as your RD.

That is why it is very important for me to know if they will consider my JULY 31st date or Sep 22nd?

I can't tell you how p***d I was when I read someone suggesting ppl to "enjoy the moment". My gut feeling is that dates will retrogress back to 2004 again. 2005 is when PERM started and that's where the bulk of applicants will come from right now. PERM filers will get the advantage of AC21 that you didn't have for all these years but plight of ppl stuck in BEC's has never been on anyone's agenda. So not much you can do.
In this process everyone gets screwed onetime or other . Everyone knows that dates will move back but the advantage of filing now is the applications enter into preprocessing stage after 10 months or whatever.
People should look at anywhere between 3 to 10 years depending on priority date to get GC.
