I have a friend that has a BS in Computer Engineering, and a MS in Electrical Engineering.
Can you guys give me sample job description that will qualify for EB2. He has 3 years of experience but that was acquired before obtaining the degrees.
Company is really flexible with job description.

I don't think it matters when the experience was acquired as long as it is related to the job description and it is verifiable. If for some reason those three years cannot be used, you can have a job requirement as something like MS in EE/CS + 0 years experience.

Canada has been using this for skilled worker program, where individuals can apply for Canadian permanent residency independently if they fullfill the passmark. Other countries like Australia, UK and New Zealand also follow suit with different types of difficulties.

When did you apply for AP renewal? Did you e-file? Don't worry about RFE on Advance Parole renewal. It could be photo or previous AP approval copy or I-485 receipt missing or incorrect fee. Wait until you get RFE. Please let us know, if it is trivial.

Hi,My I-140 was approved on 07/02/2008.I recieved an email update and online status also showing Approval notice sent.This monday my attroney send me a copy of Approval notice.

As your H1 extension is in process you can continue working until you get the approval notice. One you get the approval notice u will have the new I-94 with it which you can attach to the current one in passport and later point u can go for visa stamping.
Take the advise of your attorney as well

Hello everyone,
I was scheduled to go to an I485 interview(PD: March 2006) at the end of this month.
Here is my situtation, my H1B was expired at 08/15/09 and I renewed my expired EAD(expired in January, 2009) on 07/30/2009. However my previous employee laid me off on 08/31/09. Before I got my new EAD on 11/18/09 and started my new job on 11/23/09, there was a period of time(from 09/01/09 to 11/22/09) that I was umemployed without a valid H1B or EAD.
Is that a big deal when I go to the interview? If it is, does anyone want to provide any advice?

Guys, is there any way to expedite her EAD to be approved soon? The available solutions you have include:
1. File for your wife's H1 extension
2. After 60 days of filing your EAD, take an Infopass appointment and request an expedite process of your wife's H1 stating financial hardships, job loss etc.

On August 5th, My Online status got updated: Approval Notice sent
On August 19th, My employer got the notice stating that my petition is denied. He scanned it and forwarded it to me.
On September 10th, My Online status got updated: the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call xxx to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.
All this is leading to big confusion in my mind. I am not worried about denial. I am worried about what is happening here? Why Online status is deviant from what my employer says?

.... for 4 years. It was expiring in Dec 2009 and they renewed it till Dec 2013. No questions asked about immigration status at all. I did have to show a utility bill to show my new address and that was it. Paid $10 and got my license.

Hello All,
I have couple of questions regarding Travel Document or Advance Parole.
My EAD has already been filed by my Lawyer but she is charging too much for filing Advance Parole or Travel Document,so here goes my questions.
- Is there a way to file for Travel Document myself, without involving the lawyer and if yes how can i do that
- Do I need to wait for my EAD Receipt being sent to me before filing for Travel Document.

Yes, you can GC is a future job. So its definitely possible.
Does it mean I can file a 485 even without joining the employer and can eventually join him before the 485 is approved. Any risks in this process?

I had contacted all the senators and house reps in New Mexico via their website and heard back from Senator Jeff Bingaman.

My OPT started on July 12th, 2006 and I did not apply for my H1-B last year because the advanced degree cap quota was reached even before I got my job. Now, my OPT expired on July11th, 2007. My attorney suggested me to use the 60 days grace period to stay in U.S and get my H1-B Visa stamped in Chennai, India (Because, the 60 days grace period will get over by September 11th, 2007 and there is 19 days gap before my H1-B starts). In the H1-B approval notice it is clearly mentioned that I would attend the Chennai consulate for my stamping. The problem is that, I am not able to find available dates in Chennai consulate for H1-B stamping. Can I attend Delhi or Mumbai consulates? Please suggest me a way to come out of this situation.

All you need from employer is employment letter.
- When/how soon has this documentation is to be submitted
I am not aware of any deadlines.
- When do i need to apply for my renewal of my EAD card

Check 765 application form instructions on uscis.gov for both above.
- Is it advisable to employ the services of an attorney if we run into issues.

- I worked on similar job for very short stints in between, but it was for a few weeks, does it endanger my case in anyway.
Based on what you have told so far, doesn't seem like those endanger anything.
