I sent my documents for I485 on May 4th. Fedex web site shows that the documents were received by the service center on May 5th. But so far, my checks were not deposited or I haven't received the official receipt. How long does it take usually for USCIS to deposit checks? If I don't get the receipts for another week, what do I do?

Hello.
I filed I-485 on October 1st. Alone with I-485 I filed Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance. Instructions for G-1145 says that I will be notified within 24 hours of documents accepting but I didn't get any notification yet. Is this something I should worry about? Documents been sent by Express mail and delivered to Chicago lockbox on October 1st.

You definately got to submit what they have asked for. If you feel something was done incorrectly when you filed your taxes talk to the CPA who filed it for you. Or consult some reputed CPA. In case they feel the tax returns need to be ammended you can file an ammendment pay any dues remaining and send a copy of the same to USCIS. Usually immigration process is pretty independent from IRS for most cases so you should be fine. Between your immigration lawyer & CPA you can cover what ever CIS needs.

Same thing happen in our case, transfers TSC to local office(FL) for speed processing then after 16 months we got interviews letter from local office to attend the interview.

Relative petitions from�our California Service Center to our Texas
Service Center. We anticipated that this redistribution�of work would

adjudication of these�petitions. We have transferred a large number of
these Immediate Relative petitions back to our�California Service
Center to take advantage of resources currently available to

as an approval, denial or a Request for�Evidence (RFE) on their case
from our California or Texas Service Centers by the end of�February.
Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa
Center about�these cases.

My EAD card is probably lost in the mail. Got approved on July 11th and never received so far . My current EAD expires on Augest 9th . I am in the risk of losing the Job. What are my options now .. Please advise ..
I called USCIS, they are asking me to wait for 30 days .
Contact your local Congressman and explain him your situation he should be able to help in such a situation.

As Silverlight is a browser side technology, you would have no problem serving Silverlight content from our servers as long as you add the proper MIME type settings to the site via .htaccess rules such as:
AddType application/xaml+xml .xaml
AddType application/x-silverlight-app .xap
AddType application/x-ms-xbap .xbap
HTTP responses have a "content-type" as apart of their header.

Examples are JPG, HTML, EXE.
It is advised to set the content type appropriately when you serve a file from your webserver by modiftying your htaccess file. To be honest, you can get away without setting this for all the popular browsers from my experience, but it might affect caching or obscure browsers negatively. There could be other implications, but none that I'm aware of.

i hv an approved PERM & I-140. my company lawyer is not sharing the approvals with me. all i hv is a copy of the I-140 approval with the rcpt no. blanked out (however it shows the A-number). i do not hv a copy of the PERM approval or details of the job description used to file PERM.
i am planning to request USCIS for these documents by filing FOIA request. for this, i hv filled up form G-639 from the USCIS website.
my questions:
(1) are these 2 documents (approval for PERM & I-140) sufficient for me to retain my pd and/or use AC-21 in future? if not, then what r the other documents that i would need?
(2) does the PERM approval hv the job description reqd for AC-21?
(3) would i need copies of the petitions / forms filed or only the approvals would suffice?
