Let us all have a rally to move back to our countries on 4July2008 to symbolically show that we want our Freedom and Independence and never return back.
If all the articles about reverse brain drain we are reading about is true they would do something to solve this GC situation. Otherwise the anti-immigrants will come to see us off while we depart this country and never to return back as H1B's trying to get GC's and live here. This will go into history, 30yrs from now and our grandchildren will read about it. And may be we will get some special pension at our home countries for returning back and helping it to do better.

I really hope you set an example by going back, but your blatantly obvious lack of intellectual acuity will not result in any brain drain... so the net result of you going back would be a simple one i.e one less in the line for GC ;) (not sure if you have dependents - actually not sure if you are waiting for GC)
Good luck with your (perhaps short sited) future endeavors, do keep a log of your journey I will definitely read it :) start a blog... ;)

That is right. There are people knowingly get into dirty deals with employers like
(1) Faking experience
(2) Working out per diems in percentages
(3) Changing job titles to suit their needs
(4) Most important - employee tries to do what he/she can to keep employer happy as the green card petition is filed - I have seen this - people I know do this - they lick the boots of their employer - get coworkers fired so that their jobs are secure - get personal in alomost everything with employer so that they feel secure and job satisfied - These are the people who come out anonymously and talk bad bad things about their employer because they know they are into a screwed up relationship - no pay hikes, employer cheating on perdiems - employer knows employee is ass kissing and talks sweet but exploits - employee knows that things are not going to be the same for a prollonged period - puts a false mask and blames organizations like IV for not doing anything - these are the folks who encourage employers to do what they want to do.
And the day these employees get their green cards, they will open they companies and will do the same thing to the new immigrants; and the circus will go on.

I found this only today.. I do not work for this employer since Jan 2008. On EAD now.. 46 days passed since the date mentioned.. not sure what is this about..
Current Status: Case reopened or reconsidered based on USCIS determination, and the case is now pending.
We reopened this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER on January 30, 2008, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Our review should be completed within 30 days. We will notify you by mail .....

We need to put a sticky thread, where we can brainstorm and put best ways to switch from EB3 to EB2 w/keeping older PDs.
Even lobby to allow EB3 to EB2 with the same employer.

One would be eligible to request a transfer of the priority date from the earlier-filed EB3 petition to a new EB2 petition once the I-140 is approved. The new EB2 petition would need to be based upon a new LC for a position requiring the EB2 level of education and/or experience. (Over time, many people with EB3 cases have become eligible for EB2 cases due to increased experience and/or education, and promotions.)
This strategy potentially could shave off a few years in the queue for available immigrant visa numbers. This may be particularly appealing to those who had EB3 labor certifications filed on their behalf long ago and have had their cases pending while they have gained advanced degrees, acquired several more years of experience, and/or are offered jobs at higher levels. Keep in mind, though, that this involves filing a whole new LC under the PERM system for a new job opportunity and that the employer must actually require the additional degree and/or experience for all persons holding that job classification in order for the new case to be filed as EB2.

You may wanna read "Six thinking hats" by Edward de bono. He talks about having critical thinking hat(black hat) during brainstorming.Lets have some people with black hats here.
I have read the above book and other books (lateral thinking, ...) by Edward de bono; he has written a lot of (non expensive) books. I strongly recommend his books to the open minded reader.
btw I thought anand26 was banned from this forum. I am not too far away from being banned as well. I got a post deleted by the admin already without any notice.
I should also be banned soon. My post was not published on Friday. I did not praise logiclife for the Friday episode. I do understand that my question's will not get answered.
On the other hand, I see absolutely no content in anand26's posts. Such posts are a complete waste of time for our cause. There is no point in responding to such posts if you do not agree with it. We wasted yesterday on anand26 and friday on someone else.
However, the posts should not be deleted and persons who agree should be allowed to debate. This will not hurt IV. What is hurting us is the time we spend in responding to them.

Does someone have an experience of application process, so that i send in the right papers, before leaving here. i mean the set of documents to send to DOL, so that i do not miss out on something important which could nail him to the maximum

The submission for namecheck is generally made to FBI 1-2 weeks after your Notice Date. (The date one's data is entered into the USCIS CLAIMS3 system)

U can either call the 1-800 # or make an infopass appointment 4-6 Months after your first FP. If u plan to call, make sure u call 3-4 times because you might get conflicting info

I got RFE on 485. My attorney filed reply for the same and it reached the USCIS office on 5th March 2009.
I observed LUD's for my I 485 on 5th and 6th March and after that from 13th to 17th March 2009 all five days continuously LUD's.
I do not have any application like I-129, EAD or AP pending for approval and my PD is not current.
Any clue guys?

I would strongly suggest everyone to acquaint himself/herself with the legislative process and how a bill moves through different phases / steps before it becomes a law. You can find many postings documenting the process.
Right now it is just introduced in the senate. The problem for us is that Sen Durbin is Democratic Whip (i.e. Assistant Majority Leader) which gives him tremendous influence over garnering votes and referring which legislation to consider to the Majority Leader (Harry Reid in the Senate). Ultimately Reid decides which legislation get priority consideration. The fact that Grassley is a Republican and is close to the Minority Leader (I think) does not help us either. We will monitor the progress of the bill.
Question to IV core.
Can't we turn Mr Durbin to our side since IL has a large Indian community ?

I understand where you are coming from. And I am sorry that some of my recent posts were irresponsible.
Frankly, after mumbai attack I have been a different person. I come to this forum to learn and provide any information I can provide. But it bothers me to see few jerks like mirage who don't have any clue of how things work, and they just start posting on the forum "remove country limits, remove country limits, remove country limits, remove country limits, remove country limits, remove country limits, remove country limits" 30 times a day, as if that will be sufficient to remove country limits. And in more ways this uneducated style bothers me. I will try to ignore it and go my way.
I am right now going to speed dial that other side of me, good and informative side.

Of late, you leave no stone unturned to write flaming messages to piss off others on this forum.
