For Indians we had vaccination in India at our childhood. Due to this some will get positive results in the skin test. Then doctor is going to recommends for chest x-ray. Some of the doctor's are going to overlook this. Because the medical report is a sealed cover we don�t know what number he written in the medical examination form. You can ask the doctor.
And one more thing is for skin test we have wait couple of days.
From my experience I recommend others to go for x-ray. In my case my immigration doctor, he written 5mm as reaction for skin test. USCIS sent RFE on this to go for x-ray.
I gone for x-ray and answered the RFE immediately.
A chest x-ray is required only if the reaction to the TB skin test is 5mm or greater.

Letting all this Indian Consulting Firms taking ALMOST all the H-1B visas is very unfair for everyone of us that we are working hard to get a job in the US. In my opinion, they are trying to monopolize all the H-1B so no other company can be able to hire foreign professionals by themself. In this way their only way to get professionals is thru them.
It is very UNFAIR that this consulting companies takes a large number, getting almost everything, of H-1B visas without having a real job for them. This companies will offer this H-1Bs to other companies, making it a big business. Additionally, I believe that indians also pays to this consulting companies for the H-1B.
Even if the congress raise the cap without making changes in the system, it will never be enough. It will just increase the profit of this consulting companies. I only hope that the changes going to be introduced to fix the system will not screw us and complicate more the immigration process. But realistics and effectives changes are needed.
Good luck for everyone who are in the H-1B lottery and really need it.

I am not sure how consulate will consider if present address is not given.. I dont see any reason not to provide current address here.. It just provides your presence in USA. For visa proof, just send your H1B approved notice copy notarized. That should take care of it.

There are lot of support and response for this thread and can Core IV team consider this to be included in their Phase 2 campaign?. It will be an added feature for our to be legal immigrant community. ^^ Bump^^
IMHO this would be great. i know i will be here supporting IV even after i get my GC. The truth of the matter is most users disappear as soon as they get their GC and stop supporting the greater cause (correct me if i'm wrong) of getting one's citizenship. I'm pretty sure we will probably see more users joining in to support this phase.
Then there are also the ones, that have the mindset that since getting the GC most of the weight is lifted off ones shoulders, and one can do pretty much (not all of course) anything that a citizen can. So the waiting for 5 years is not a burden to most. I'm not too sure if this is the case with everybody, but some that i know feel that way....

you may be right, there is much speculation on other threads that i have read that EB3 ROW, will be current by this summer, if not it will atleast show significant move. So i've got my fingers crossed
Believe me, we have our fingers crossed - and toes.....and whatever possible !!
I've also read the other threads where they mention that EB3 ROW is very likely to be current by July. I feel CP is at a disadvantage because you cannot apply for EAD etc. You can only wait until your PD becomes current. That can be slightly frustrating !
But I guess you all know what I'm talking about.....:(

We should NOT be surprised that there is no movement in EB2/EB3 Categories given the number of applications filed recently. We may not see any reasonable forward movement for a long time unless congress passes the visa recapture bill.
I don't think the July/August filings will have impact on the retrogression right away. The cut-off dates would retrogress based on number of applications ready for approval/approved pending VISA number. The applications (485) filed in July/August are not processed yet and hence will not impact retrogression today.

The speed in which h1 FOR MS in USA shows that there is not that much demand to H1s. Only around 7500 was filled. The H1 Cap 65000 was reached for because Indian companies were rushing to make it before H1 cap is reached. One has to analyse how much is going to be used really. They will use need basis and won't cancel if not used. So increasing to 110k will be enough to meet the real demand but then also Cap will be reached in another 2 months because consulting companies process h1 first and find the job for them later. But Real demand can be analysed in other way. Because of Rushing thro H1s lot of companies which are having Real job demand(Companies like Intel Microsoft) could not hire. H1s for US MS degree holders solved the issue Partialy. May be if the increase that quota to 40k then demand will be enough.

Is IV considering that on our behalf ? I would be willing to donate money for this specific purpose, if this is started.
I also hate loosing SS Taxes. I mean we dont have any
security in this country. We get 60 days to pack up if we loose our jobs and then they collect SS taxes from us. This is insane and a gross abuse of people on H1B. I think we are equally to blame to continue taking the abuse as the abusers. I fully support the clause that Green Card/Naturalization is a priveldge and not a right, but robbing me out of my money is not. I do support filing a lawsuit against this fully. I am sure if we pull one years worth of our SS taxes, then we can pay for this suit. We might win or loose but least we will have peace of mind that we faught for the right cause.

The first step you should get your employer to do is to file a job order in the state job bank or americas job bank. You have to keep this ad for 30 days and then wait another 30 days to file PERM. This is the longest time. All other forms of recruitment needs to wait only 30 days and you can file PERM on the 31st day. There is no mention of working days or weekends, it is 30 continuous days. As you know in addition to this job bank order, and two Sunday newspaper ads, there has to be three other forms of recruitment before you can file PERM. If your employer and lawyer are really proactive it will only take 60 days to file PERM from start to finish. You also have to get a prevailing wage determination and post it at your job site for 10 days not including holidays and weekends. Hope this helps. Actually I saw an improvement for 03/20. 6 approvals for that day then it's back to no approvals.
Looks like approvals has slowed down further.
This is why at the end of the year there are unused visas. All due to inefficiencies of USCIS.
We are doomed.
