Why only 10 you tube videos when there are 23000 members in this organization?
Why do I have to hand out flyers to complete strangers when 10000 visit the site everyday??
AND Why only 100 votes to attend rally on THIS (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12441)thread, when there are over 300 active users at THIS very moment???!!!
I think he is telling the truth. Otherwise we would have almost 100% attendance for the rally. But it does not seem like. So, i think we "so called higly educated and qualified" need to think about it.

what makes you state with confidance that the preadjudicated cases will be evaluated. can you please explain the basis of your statement. both my case and my wife's case has been pre-adjudicated and i am waiting for my green card. so do you think we should expect our green card some time next month without any additional followup. i would hate to see my case being sidetracked when some one else with pd and rd much beyond mine is serviced. any thoughts and insights. not trying to offend anyone. just trying to get some information.

Based on USCIS SOP (though a bit outdated) - see below - preadjudicated cases are piled in PD sequence when they wait for visa. Therefore, as your PD is quite high (Sep 04), you should expect a good news in Sept. Best...

What I am saying is just do not look into the issues that affects only you. Just be open minded. Show some sympathy to them. They were really affected. You do not have to fight all battles. you called that person Jealous which I did not like. if You do not like just ignore the post but do not call the names.

1.> I am from india and retrogression affects indians, hence I wish my community can fight against this in a democratic civil way as I have always said.
2.> If ppl like you, who has no profile and who claims to have become US Citizen last week, comes here and fuels the fire to divide us - this is not going un-noticed.
3.> I feel that instead of crying over small # of LC subs, we fight for something where everyone gets benefitted. If we are successful in visa recapture or end of retrogression, everyone of us would get gc if eligible. what effect of lc sub would be there in that case?
4.> however if ppl like you come and make us fight among overselves, we reach no where. May be this is what you want. isn't it?
5.> if a person is slightly over-weight, and if he is detected to have 2 cancers also - what should he do? worry about cancer first or that extra 2 pounds of weight? similary in current situation, the lcsub is slight over weight compared to cancer like 'large unused visa numbers' and 'unfair country qouta'.

My passport was renewed by Consulate of Chicago and the fields last name and first name were interchanged.
I used the miscellaneous service form. The reason i gave was other and also did not fill my name on the form. I took it to the consulate along with my old passport and showed them the error. They agreed to make a correction and then I filled in the name on the miscellaneous service form the the way i wanted it to look like.
They provided an endorsement on the second page of the passport and this should be good for travel and all other purposes. I did not need an affidavit as the old passport was used as the proof.
I believe you should be able to use the same.

Though I am cynical about this campaign, I appreciate your efforts to do some good. The reason I am cynical is because any campaign with a small set of beneficiaries or members has a little chance. And more importantly such operational mistakes are hard to prove and stand little chance for correction as these are time bound actions and you cannot go back in time and rectify them. However, these are just my views!!!
But I am noticing that you have 2 reds against your posts. We can disagree with each other but we cannot undermine the sincere efforts and let anti immigration folks have a laugh at us.

I thought that with the Sept 2009 bulletin ( PD shifted to 01 Jan 2005 for EB2 India), my PD is current!
Am I missing something?

Is TSC again playing a false sport as they did last year by consuming most of the numbers by giving GC to 2006 filers ?

I think the IO just say anything that comes into their mind because they know nobody's there to hold them accountable during the interview process. Thats why I think one should take an attorney along during the interview process if they think their case maybe little complicated. At least the attorney can step in when it comes to the IOs denying your application improperly. Does anyone think this is a good idea to be on safer side?

What Sanju posted is not off the mark. And I agree with Wandmaker. The person who came up with this idea needs to PM or e-mail Pappu or Administrator and get some feedback if IV Core supports this. If you get the yay from Pappu, then form a small core group who will tacke the operational aspect of this idea and keep it moving forward. The "posts" need to be coverted to "actions". I am just speaking from experience having run a successful year long campaign with IV already. Best of Luck!

It is absolutely nonsense that preadjudicated cases are in a pile waiting for visa number...this is from my attorney....USCIS can issue n number of RFEs.....and each time it is issued it furthers the chance of green....
